Southern District take on West Torrens in the first round of the XXXX gold T20 cup this Sunday at Bice oval. The day will feature an U18 match prior to the main game which will include potential BankSA squad members for this years carnival and will be managed by BankSA coach Lewis Hatchett, this team will be announced Thu night.Shaun Tanner will step out as skipper of the Stingrays for the first time when he leads Southern in the main game. A 13 man squad will be announced Thu night for this match which is likely to include DLCA import Lewis Hill who joined us on the weekend.
The following weekend is a Stingray home game at Encounter Bay vs Sturt, a rematch of the same match 2 years ago. The SDCC managament committee will announce very shortly arrangements for the day including bus transport for players and supporters and associated costs.
