Stingray Gary Putland helps the Redbacks to two early victories in the Champions League Twenty/20. Playing firstly against Highveld Lions , Gary bowled steadily taking 0 for 33 of 4 overs, bowling only one wide and contributing with the vital run out of McKenzie. Against the Mumbai Indian's Gary bowled even better taking 1 for 24, of 4 overs, 3 wides, Gary made an early break through and helped tame the Little Master Sachin Tendulkar. What an experience! Gary again featured in a run out, West Indies star Dwayne Bravo.With IPL recruiters on the prowl all players will trying to put their best foot forward.

Gary continued to have impact taking 2 for 36 of four overs and he continued his contribution in the field with a well held catch.
