T20 Skipper Shaun Tanner took 4-8 off 4 overs to effectively kill University's run chase before it began. Tanner took the key wickets of Thornton nad Cooper in his first two overs, with Gary Putland (2/19) snaring the important wicket of Australian International T20 player Dan Chrsitian. Tom Joraslafsky (2/18) and Pat Jolly (1/28) chipped in with wickets to bowl Uni out for just 107 in the final over.Earlier, in form from a winter playing in Worcestershire, Josh Barratt showed his class compiling a match winning 54 from 44 deliveries. Barratt timed his innings well, starting solidly after the Stingrays lost early wickets, and at one stage were reduced to 3/13. JB cashed in late with some mighty blows including three 6's and five fours. He was well supported by Simon Roberts (31) and Matthew Sugg (28*) to finish the innings at 5/151.

2 things out of Saturday. The "Rays" were the only club not to bowl an extra.
