Southern District will be represented by three players this year at the U19 national carnival. Garrett (94*) and Barrett (96*) put together a huge partnership on Sunday to sink Northern District in a one day fixture, underlining their value to the young Redback side. SACA high performance have been forced to reward Tom Joraslafsky with his first selection in several years through standout performances over the past 18 months. Tommy J destroyed the B grade competition last year, taking out the Bowling trophy and best player award. He has formed part of Southern's 3 prong spin attack this season, holding his own already in an unbeaten A grade side.
Congratulations to all three lads who travel later this month, and will be sorely missed during the clubs all important encounter with Sturt in round six.
