Official Opening of New Club Facilities

The highlight of the past weekend was the official opening of the Charman Family Change Rooms and the Peter Weeks Umpires Room. Guests included The Mayor of Onkaparinga Lorraine Rosenberg, Local Federal MP Amanda Rishworth, recently retired International Umpire Darrell Harper and Patron of the Umpires and Scorers Association and former state player Neil Dansie.

Thanks to Port Adelaide Women’s team who acted as a Guard of Honour (along with our girls team) for the official cutting of the ribbon.

The Women’s Committee would like to thank President Harvey Jolly for his work in MCing the occasion and his efforts in writing the grant applications.

On behalf of the Club we would like to thank Sharon and her group who set up and made the food for the guests.
