When Tennis Balls Attack...

If 9am Sunday morning starts in the middle of July are a little bit of a rough way to start pre-season training, then don't mention the 100mph tennis balls being fired down in an attempt to take heads off... Check out this short video our StingrayTV page:

A handful of Stingray juniors and mentor senior players have been asking some questions of their game for the past few weeks, particularly back foot play. Batting skills sessions at the ICA and spin bowling sessions over the winter have underpinned skill development of some younger and lower grade players in the off season.

Recruiting has also been a focus with several players trialling in this time, their videos can also be seen on the StingraysTV page. Competition for places this season looks set to be fierce.

Pre-season proper kicks off in a condensed format on Sept 1st, dates can be found on the pre-season page at www.stingrays.com.au along with the program for 2009/10
