The first round A grade team for 2009/10 will be announced Thursday night along with a capping presentation for the U13 Ray Sutton squad. All club members are invited to attend, food and drinks will be available. Stingray clothingSenior Training this week begins 4pm Tuesday and Thursday for players who can attend. An optional short session will be held for potential A and B grade players Wednesday night from 4:30-6pm. This was arranged as the weather forecast for Thu is unlikely to allow quality turf nets.
A practice match is planned Sat morning for B/C/D players while the A grade lads take on Northern Districts in the Jolly Cup. Coaching staff will put on a BBQ lunch back at the club for players involved in this game.
After the A grade game players from both sides and supporters are invited to stay for a BBQ and short speeches.
