Gary Putland Youth Cricket Academy

After a very successful Gary Putland Youth Cricket Academy program run over 10 weeks selectors Eric Bain, Bob Lisle and Harvey Jolly have considered the cricketing opportunities of all the lads in the squad.

We would like to congratulate the following players who through their efforts and improvement have gained an invite to Stingrays Under 14 trainings commencing Monday September 20 at Bice Oval, starting at 4:45 pm.

Ethan Alderman, Daniel Bruce, Liam Coleman, Lindsay Cox, Mitchell Farquhar, William Greenshields, Rory Hanson, Kalen Hesse, Bradley Hill, Lachlan Hillier, Tom Hynes, Ben Layton, Bryn Loots, Thomas Page, Sam Phillips, Nick Scholl, Cameron Smith, Darcy Smith, Quinn Thurtell, Isaac Tierney, Brett Tillson, David Unsworth, Brodie Whitbourne.

The Coaching staff believes all these players will continue to benefit by training at the Stingrays practices.

Players who live a considerable distance away have the option to train one night per week, this can be arranged with the Under 14 Coach, Ross Hill.

Under 14 trainings are Monday and Wednesday. An information evening will be held Monday September 27 at Bice Oval after training, starting at 6:15 pm.
Players may also dual register with the Southern District Cricket Club and another club of their choice, this allows the player to play for the Stingrays but also the other club if they do not make the Stingray’s Under 14 team in any given round.

On behalf of all the Stingrays congratulations on gaining an invite to under 14 trainings for season 2010/11.
