Southern continued its recent good form with a comprehensive T20 win against Prospect in Round 3 of the XXXX Gold competition.Paul Roberts (39) and Joel Garrett (33) set up the innings, with the Rays finishing at 6/107.
The Pirates were never in the hunt, Spinners Shaun Tanner (2/9) and Tom Joraslafsky (4/10) taking advantage of some ordinary batting which saw Prospect bowled out for just 68.
Sturt sit atop the table after defeating Southern in rnd 2. A Sturt loss to Adelaide and a win for Southern against Glenelg will see the Rays into the final on superior net run rate.
