Delaney snares bag - Trigg out injured

Stingray recruit Mick Delaney has fought back from a poor start in the Futures League match in QLD. Mick took 5-91 in the first innings, an excellent return considering he had 0-38 from his first 4 overs on day one.

At park 25 SA are being put to the sword by Victoria after they posted a disappointing total of 231 (Garrett 71, Ludeman 50). Just after lunch the Vics had already passed the 300 mark only 3 down.

In other news young allrounder Blake Trigg has suffered an unfortunate freak accident at training when he fell awkwardly over a bag and fractured his ankle. Blake is expected to miss 6-8 weeks and will probably look at a post Christmas return.
