Capping night for season 2008/09 was held Thursday night at Bice Oval. Players from the Ray Sutton team were presented their Stingray caps from Shane Deitz prior to his 100th and possibly final game for Southern. Shane was recognised for his achievement with a framed certificate presented by Harvey Jolly on behalf of the SACA. Games commence this weekend for senior grade teams.
