Deitz 100th and final 'A' Grade Game

As most around the club would be aware we have lost our premier cricketer Shane Deitz to the land of the long white Cloud, New Zealand.

Much will be said of Deeta leaving and it is appropriate that this edition of the newsletter pays tribute to Shane and the magnificent impact he has had on our club.

Everyone who is not playing on Sunday is asked to come down to Adelaide No2 to wear red and support our A grade team and be part of Deeta’s last day – Be part of a piece of Stingray history and show Deeta the respect that he deserves.
A full summary of Deeta’s performances will be in the next newsletter but with over 5300 A grade runs and 21 wickets and a truck load of trophies, awards and more Shane Deitz leaves a big legacy at our club.

The SDCC wishes Shane all the best in the future, thanks him for all he has done for our club and hopes to see him back very soon.
